Ashiatsue Oriental Bar Therapy is a barefoot massage technique that uses deep compression, effleurage (long) strokes to glide over the body. Bars attached to the ceiling provide support and balance for the therapist. The movements used b the therapist create a structural change in areas where chronic soft tissue damage exists. Correction will provide deep relaxation & stimulate the lymphatic system of the body.
How it works:
Using the different strokes with the pressure of the feet along the spine, your therapist creates a push-pull effect on the soft tissue that surrounds the intervertebral disc space. Mobilization above & below the joints naturally takes place due to the deep compression to surrounding muscle, which also allows the nucleus pulposus (the gel that gives discs their support) a chance to return to its proper place. Symptoms & pain can diminish in as little as two sessions.
